If Two Stand in Agreement

If Two Stand in Agreement

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His power. Put on all the armor of God so that you can oppose the devil`s plans. For we do not fight against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic forces on this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore, take all the armor of God so that you can resist in the bad day, and after doing everything to remain firm. So, after you have attached yourself to the Belt of Truth and put on the armor of righteousness, stand upright. When this verse is used in this way, it implies that if two or more agree, what they demand is done. In other words, when two pray the same prayer, what they pray for is answered. Prayer is a powerful force, much more powerful than all the bombs in the world. “Prayer of agreement” is a potential force that is not used by the Church today. The Bible says in Ephesians 6:18 that we are to pray in the Spirit at all times, with all kinds of prayers. This means that there are different types of prayer, and prayer of agreement is one of them.

Prayer of agreement is a form of prayer often used by Jesus. Before Jesus was arrested and invited Peter, James and John to pray with him. He was saddened and troubled by death on the cross. Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed by sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and watch with me” (Matthew 26:36-38). Wherever two or more people gather to pray in jesus` name, God is in their midst. Matthew 18:20: “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there in their midst.” Thus, god`s presence is provoked by prayer of agreement. And I was looking for a man among them who would build the wall and stand in the breach in front of me for the land I shouldn`t destroy, but I didn`t find any. This verse does not say that God is present when there are two or more people. Or that God gives what we ask when two or more people agree. Rather, it is a process that we must follow when there is a conflict and a promise that God is with us as we go through that process.

To agree is to be in unity. It`s about standing up as a unit. Synergy is caused by the power of many. Consistent prayer produces a greater effect than the sum of our individual parts. It generates greater power than individualistic prayer. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 32:30: “A man will hunt down a thousand men and flee two tens of thousands. Mark Moore in The Chronological Life Of Christ puts it this way: The prayer in verse 19 is not for “anything” that we might plan or desire, but for any legal matter. The word pragma often refers to financial matters or legal decisions (cf. 1 Cor 6:1). And the “two or three together” in verse 20 do not speak of worship. (The omnipresence of God and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit ensure the presence of Jesus even where a Christian is alone.) The word “to gather” [synegmenoi] means “united,” not just “gathered.” So what this text promises is that God will put His seal of approval on court decisions among church members who reach mutual agreement. 1.

Corinthians 7:5 Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by mutual agreement for a limited time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but gather again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. Likewise, husbands, live with sympathy with your wives and pay homage to the wife as the weakest vessel, since they are with you the heirs of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered. Prayer of agreement is that two or more people come together to pray about something. The prayer of unity means standing in prayer as one man and touching whatever they ask. The Bible teaches that there are different types of prayer. Prayer of agreement is one of them. Prayer of agreement usually involves two or more people getting together and deciding to pray for something specific they desire. .
